A-G Requirements
The University of California (UC) and the California State University (CSU) systems established the A-G requirements for determine eligibility for college admissions.
While these requirements are specific for UC and CSU schools, they are very similar to what is needed for many four-year universities. We recommend visiting the websites for schools you are interested in to determine admissions requirements.

A-G Requirements | |

C) Math | 3 years required, 4 years recommended |
D) Lab Science | 2 years required, 3 years recommended |
E) Language other than English | 2 years required, 3 years recommended |
F) Visual and Performing Arts | 1 year required |
G) College Prep Elective | 1 year required |
Students must earn a grade of C- or better to maintain their A-G requirements

California Community College (CCC) System
The CCC system has 116 campuses statewide. A great place for you to start your college journey.

Private and Out-of-State Schools
If you are looking at a private school or a school out-of-state, the are two “one stop shop” applications that can help: The Common App and the Coalition for College App.
Both applications are connected to 100s of schools nationwide, and you can apply to many of them by using these applications.
