Our 11th and 12th-grade criminology students recently dove into an interactive murder mystery activity that had everyone on the edge of their seats! Each student was assigned a unique role in the scenario and tasked with uncovering the mystery by piecing together clues, interrogating their peers, and using critical detective skills. The energy in the classroom was incredible as students fully embraced their roles, analyzed evidence, debated theories, and worked together to crack the case and unmask the murderer among them. It was inspiring to see how excited they were to play detective, and the commitment they showed to their characters added an extra layer of fun to the experience.  In the end, their teamwork paid off as they were able to successfully apprehend the masked murderer, solving the mystery with their impressive detective skills.

This kind of hands-on, immersive project is exactly what we strive for at CCPA. We believe that learning should be engaging, dynamic, and thought-provoking, and this criminology activity showcased just that. By incorporating interactive assignments like this, we’re able to cultivate a passion for learning that goes beyond traditional methods, encouraging students to think critically, collaborate, and have fun while mastering new concepts. It’s all part of how we create a learning environment that brings subjects to life and prepares students for success.
