Our students recently attended the Sacramento Trades Day Expo, where they had the chance to explore various trade careers through interactive, hands-on demonstrations. They learned about fields like construction, welding, roofing, and electrical work by using real tools and equipment alongside seasoned professionals. These immersive experiences offered a unique glimpse into the skills required for success in the trades. Students were introduced to different pathways, from apprenticeships to vocational schools, that can help them reach their career goals. As part of our school’s commitment to offering practical, real-world learning opportunities, this trip opened students’ eyes to alternative career options outside the traditional classroom setting. It reinforced our mission to prepare them for life beyond high school by helping them see the value of both skilled trades and hands-on education. Experiences like this align perfectly with our Montessori-inspired approach, emphasizing self-directed learning and exploration. We’re proud to provide our students with meaningful opportunities like these, ensuring that their education prepares them for a successful future!
