We took our 9th and 10th graders on a culinary adventure with an immersive entry event to get them excited about their upcoming garden project! As a follow-up to their “Global Taste Trek” activity, we transformed one of our classrooms into a full-on bistro, complete with servers, a host, string lights, place settings, and even a chef! The atmosphere was electric as students stepped into a restaurant experience designed to spark their creativity and interest in sustainable food. This hands-on, interactive event was a fun and unforgettable way to set the stage for their garden bed project. We went all out to ensure they felt completely immersed in the world of farm-to-table dining!
